Yellowstone National Park Self-Drive from $1800 per person double occupancy or $3700 per family of up to four staying in the same room (airfare additional).
Optional Denver Arrival with Thermopolis Hot Springs Stay is available for an additional $300 per person for two days
Billings or Jackson arrivals add $200 per person.
Day One: Cody WY
Proceed to the Avis Rental Counter at Yellowstone-Cody Regional Airport (Flight is additional) and pick up your rental car and drive to your hotel. You can opt to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum of the West this afternoon (tickets included) or relax. Lunch and Dinner are on your own.
Day Two: Cody WY
If you didn't visit the Buffalo Bill Museum of the West yesterday, you'll have another chance yet today. Otherwise, take in any of serveral optional activites such as white water rafting, fly fishing (in season), a wild horse tour, or an ATV rental. Return back to your hotel for your orientation presentation in preparation for tomorrow's visit to Yellowstone Park. Late afternoon, head off to Cody Cattle Company for dinner and a show. Afterward, take in the Cody Nite Rodeo. (Cody Nite Rodeo will be replaced with Cody Stampede July 1-4)
Day Three: Yellowstone National Park
If you have chosen one of the upgrades to one of the Lodges inside Yellowstone Park or hotels in either Jackson or Emigrant MT, you'll check out. Everyone will head to Yellowstone National Park today. Your Tour Concierge will have given you maps. We recommend doing the Upper Loop today, visiting the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Lamar Valley, and Mammoth Hot Springs having lunch on your own in the park for and additional fee. Box lunches can be provided. In the evening you'll be treated to an evening wildlife viewing. (Meet at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel) Afterward head back to your selected hotel either in Cody, inside Yellowstone National Park, Gardiner or Jackson.
Today you'll tour the Lower Loop visitng Old Faithful Geyser. Check at the Visitors' Center for eruption times for all the Lower Geyser Basin's geysers. Viist Lake Yellowstone, North America's Largest Alpine Lake, take in the majestic Grand Prismatic Springs, and Hayden Valley. Don't worry: You'll have tomorrow to catch more of it if you didn't see it all today.
You have two options today. You can either take the included boat tour on Yellowstone National Park or the optional Wildlife Photography Safari. Afterwards, see more of Yellowstone Park. Your afternoon could be spent hiking one or several of Yellowstone's trails, wildlife viewing in Hayden or Lamar Valley or souvenir shopping at Yellowstone General Stores or in Gardiner or in West Yellowstone.
Day Six: Drop off your rental car at the airport and head home with a lifetime's worth of memories.
